A simple autumn craft for Beaver Scouts using air-dry clay.

Resources

Air-dry clay, pencil, LED tealight.

Instructions

Step 1 - Make the Pumpkin
Roll the clay into a ball about the size of a small orange.
Step 2 - Create the Holder
Press your thumb into the centre to make a space for the tealight.
Step 3 - Add Pumpkin Lines
Use a pencil to press gentle lines around the outside to create pumpkin segments.
Step 4 - Dry
Leave the clay to dry fully following the instructions on the packet.
Safety
Air-dry clay is not suitable for real candles. Always use a battery-operated LED tealight.
